This wine is produced from a careful selection of the best grapes from the Vigna Vecchia Groppone family vineyard, situated in the municipality of Diano d’Alba.
After a careful and accurate selection process, the grapes arrive at the wine cellar for the soft pressing process. The pulp is then fermented at a carefully controlled temperature. The wine is then aged in small oak barriques for a period of 12 months. It is then left fine in the bottle for a further period of time. The wine has good structure and body, the colour is intense ruby red, and after one year of ageing it acquires shades of garnet. The bouquet is fruity with hints of vanilla. It is the perfect accompaniment to game and cheese.
Serve at room temperature.
